Happened to chance upon this place yesterday and was greeted with warmth by the waitress. Ordered the crab curry dumplings and pork dumplings. Both were delicious, I especially loved the crispy onions on top. The chili sauce on the table is a must add to your dumplings for an even better taste! Would recommend this place to family and friend :-)

This is the first time I've ever written a review for a restaurant, but I felt like I had to! The food is delicious. My husband and I got the Thai Lover Set to try all the Thai flavors, and each one is amazing. They are a really fun way to incorporate popular Thai dishes into dumpling form. We even ordered sets of the crab curry, pork basil, chicken green curry, and tom yum dumplings to go so we could have them again the next day! We also tried the kimchi fries and the shrimp sticks. As a side note, the shrimp sticks are whole shrimps (with cheese!) so they are much plumper than the picture on the menu! The kimchi fries have a slightly sweet and creamy spicy mayo sauce on top which goes really well with the sourness of the kimchi as well. Last but not least, the service is wonderful! I'm not sure if the person helping us that day is the owner or another staff member, but regardless she is so sweet and kind. We will definitely be visiting Dumplings N' Dips again anytime we're in the city!

Budget spot in NYC for unusual but delicious dumplings. Each dumpling has an entire entree inside it so you get to taste 4-5 different "dishes". Got the thai lover set and included pad thai, massaman curry, pad krapow and green curry, etc. The dumpling fillings were delicious. The dumplings were also very well made with thin skins. Service was friendly.

What a cute find in the heart of the Village. I quickly ordered shrimp dumplings to try. The woman who helped was very kind. The menu was great, and I wish I had time to try more. The dumplings, however tasty, appeared more like a steamed shrimp tempura rather than an actual dumpling with shrimp inside. It was good, just not what I was expecting. I would come back to try other options.

I recently visited Dumpling N’ Dips in the East Village and thought the concept was really unique. They take classic Thai dishes and turn them into dumplings — something you don’t really see anywhere else in NYC. We tried a variety of flavors like Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Green Curry, and Crab Fried Rice dumplings. Each one had its own distinct flavor, and you can actually recognize the original dish inside the dumpling, which I really appreciated. It’s creative but still stays true to Thai taste. The shop itself is small and cozy, perfect for a casual meal. They also offer items like Tom Yum dumpling hot pot and occasionally have specials like Khao Man Gai, which is nice if you want something beyond dumplings. Overall, it’s a fun and different way to experience Thai food. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and want to try something new.
